Growing Agency, Action, Scale and Impact through Nature's Guidelines
Example Keynote - Becoming Ecological Citizens: Scaling Impact Through Nature-Based Frameworks
How do we move people from overwhelm to empowerment?
From individual action to collective impact?
From sustainability to regeneration?
The answers lie in how nature creates the conditions for life to thrive.
With 28 years' experience spanning marine conservation, community resilience, and regenerative design, Dr Deborah Benham has developed the Ecological Citizens Framework—five interconnected pathways that transform how individuals and communities relate to each other and the living world.
Through deep nature connection practices, biomimicry principles, and community-building approaches, audiences discover how to design programmes and initiatives that create lasting mindset and behaviour change.
Deborah shares compelling case studies from her work with Transition Network international, Biomimicry and bioregional initiatives worldwide, demonstrating how charities can amplify their reach, deepen their impact, and create networks of changemakers who act with agency, hope, and collective intelligence.
