Reconnecting with and learning from nature, and remembering how to cooperate and co-design, even across our differences, are key skills for positive changemakers. These three workshops offer an introduction to key concepts and practical skills that you can immediately apply. Each is nourishing, hopeful and deeply experiential. WORKSHOP SUMMARIES
1. Reconnecting to Nature for Hope, Health, and Agency
- An Introduction to Nature Reconnection, Biomimicry and Ecological Citizenship
This one-day workshop offers a deeply experiential journey into the natural world as a source of solace, wisdom and guidance. Weaving together deep nature connection practices, biomimicry principles, and exploring what it means to develop an ecological worldview, this workshop invites participants to rediscover their kinship with nature and gain tools to align their lives, communities, and creativity with Earth’s regenerative systems.

This workshop is designed for anyone feeling concerned about the state of the world—community members, change-makers, students, wellbeing practitioners, and anyone else seeking connection with nature as a pathway toward a preferred future. It's a space to find hope, health, community, and direction amid the challenges of today’s complex and interrelated crises. Aimed at supporting mental and emotional wellbeing, and growing your sense of agency, this workshop will help you explore how to embody and step into ecological citizenship with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation.

2. Applying Systems Level Biomimicry for Thriving Cities and Bioregions
Discover how to design human communities, settlements and systems that are as resilient, regenerative and thriving as ecosystems. This one-day, hands-on workshop introduces systems-level biomimicry—a powerful way to integrate ecological principles into urban and bioregional planning. You'll leave with a new understanding of how nature's design strategies and tools can create regenerative solutions for communities and ecosystems. 3. Participatory Learning & Facilitation
- Unleashing the Power of Collective Intelligence
In today’s world of increasing complexity, participatory approaches are essential for unlocking the full potential of a diverse group and finding innovative ways to address the multifaceted challenges we face. In this introductory workshop we will explore and experience a range of participatory activities that help engage and express the collective intelligence of a group - redistributing power and amplifying creativity. These approaches support communities and teams to thrive, empowering participants with tools to emerge new solutions, facilitate meaningful interactions, and foster stronger relationships and trust within groups. Redistributing power fosters equity, diversity, and inclusivity—key ingredients to systemic change. Plus, as one of the most engaging and fun ways of learning, it ensures that outcomes are memorable and sustainable! This is an initial short workshop that can be followed by a more in depth 3-5 day training (with accreditation) on request.
