What is it?
A one-day, highly interactive workshop where you'll learn how to design and deliver participatory experiences that surface the full creative intelligence of a group. This introductory workshop offers simple, accessible tools to redistribute power and amplify creativity, supporting learners, groups and teams to thrive.
Whether you’re working with communities, leading training or classes, or facilitating change initiatives, this experiential workshop will increase your confidence, adaptability, and capability to lead effective and enjoyable group processes.
Facilitating groups doesn’t have to feel overwhelming— with a few new tools up your sleeves, you can easily create fun, engaging, and impactful experiences for a variety of groups and learners. This workshop will help you gain confidence and capability in leading sessions where creativity, inclusion, and collaboration thrive.
Who is it for?
This workshop is ideal for anyone working with groups in educational, organisational, or community-based settings. In particular,
- Community organisers supporting change initiatives for sustainability, regeneration, or social innovation.
- Educators and trainers hosting learning spaces and workshops.
- Facilitators looking to deepen their ability to create dynamic, engaging group sessions.
- Individuals seeking to better facilitate participatory decision-making, innovation, or collaborative learning.
Why is it important?
Participatory approaches are essential for unlocking collective intelligence and addressing the multifaceted challenges we face. The world is calling for people who can facilitate groups with clarity, connection, and creativity. Whether you're working with community activists, running workshops, or helping organisations shape meaningful projects, facilitation is a core skill for creating change.
But facilitation is not just about organising or teaching—it’s about helping groups stay alive, inspired, and effective. Too often, groups lose energy, people disengage, or conflicting views dominate conversations. This workshop addresses all of that by offering tools and techniques that allow you to deal with complexity, variation, and challenges as they arise.
By fostering collective intelligence, creativity, and group alignment, we shift groups into spaces where co-creation feels both fun and purposeful.
